Shelley’s Crittercare
Pet Sitting

a full service Pet Sitting, Horse and Farm care, and Dog Walking provider.
We are a bonded and insured professional service with experience in the local area since 2000.
Our courteous staff furnishes your furry, feathered, and scaly friends with professional pet care in the comfort of their own home, yard or pasture while you are travelling, at work, or if you just need some general assistance with your pets.
It is our personal goal to provide your pets with professional and loving care in their own home while you are away. After all, there’s no place like home for your furry and feathered companions.
This service also helps to deter criminal activity away from your home by giving it a “lived-in” look. Where a kennel can sometimes be more practical, this service allows your pets to be in their home environment and comfortable, away from sickness, cages, and other strange animals. Most importantly, they will be there to greet you when you return home!
Serving you and them is our pleasure.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Judy Usry, Owner
Our Staff
Hardworking and completely awesome, here are the special people behind Shelley’s Crittercare Pet Sitting!

Judy Usry
Owner
A retired Executive Assistant, Judy has lived in the Conyers area for almost 30 years and has personal and professional ties to the Community serving in various charity events throughout the year. As the proud pet owner of Sassy, Buddy, and Daisy, she knows the importance of having someone caring and trustworthy to take care of the furry children while the owner is away from home. After performing as a full-time pet sitter for over 5 years, Judy was excited to take on the opportunity of owning and operating Shelley’s Crittercare beginning in 2016.
Sarah
Sarah is one of our newest employees, having joined the staff in September 2016. She is a lifelong resident of Conyers, currently still residing there with her own 2 fur babies Charlie and Blue. When not working full-time, or helping Shelley’s Crittercare part-time taking care of our sweet clients, she can be found crocheting and loom knitting. Sarah has a special knack for calming some of our more anxious fur clients and putting them at ease when they miss their owners. She is a wonderful addition to our team!

Ann
A lifelong animal lover and pet owner, Ann, along with her husband, have a plethora of dogs and cats as well as 2 horses they call their own. Her devotion doesn’t stop there–over the last 10+ years, Ann has volunteered for the local wild animal rehab AWARE and works as a foster dog parent for Angels Among Us dog rescue. Her love and affection and enthusiasm for all animals make her a valuable asset to Shelley’s Crittercare, and she has a special attachment to all of the clients in her care.
Chuck
A long time Conyers’ resident, Chuck has worked for large grocery store chains for 30+ years, currently serving as the grocery manager at one of the largest stores in the area. When he’s not busy with that, he’s assisting Shelley’s Crittercare part-time with midday dog walks and weekend visits. His love of animals is extraordinary, and the animals sure love him! He has 4 fur babies of his own–Sadie, Sassy, Daisy and Buddy, and they keep him busy at home when he’s not out loving on our clients.

Megan
Megan joined our team in 2017, and with her experience with goats, chickens, cats, dogs, horses, and ducks, and a background education in psychology, we couldn’t be happier to have her on board. When Megan is not out pet sitting for some of our favorite clients, she is spending time with her husband and daughter, and their dogs Cloud & Zelda and cat Debora. She loves helping others–both people and animals, enjoys traveling, and coffee, music & art, and family are her priorities.
Patty
A retired Accounting A/P coordinator, originally from Louisiana, Patty is a long term resident of Oxford with personal and professional ties in the Conyers/Covington community. She is the proud dog owner of her pup Dixie and has had years of experience with a variety of dogs. When she isn’t out on dog walks for Shelley’s Crittercare, she and her husband enjoy camping, boating, traveling, visiting with family and cheering the N.O. Saints on come Sunday. Patty has a special gift with the animals and an eye for detail, and we are lucky to have her on our team!

Ivette
A 20-year resident of Georgia along with her husband and step-children, Ivette has served in the Airline field as a Flight attendant since 1996, and while she absolutely loves that job, she enjoys spending time with furry little ones for Shelley’s Crittercare part-time. Ivette has two 4-legged babies of her own–a 5 yr old Boxer-Bo, and an 8 yr old poodle-Coco who are especially loved and spoiled. Ivette has an extraordinary affection for all animals, knowing that whether it’s a dog, cat, horse, rabbit, goat, turtle…all pets just want to be loved and cared for. She enjoys spending that extra time with them, playing and showing all our furry and feathered friends how loved they truly are!
Shelley
With a background education in zoology and a love for all animals, Shelley opened Shelley’s Crittercare in October of 2000 to provide a much needed pet service in her local area on a part-time basis while completing her Masters degree in Accounting at Univ of Maryland. After 10 years in the corporate Accounting world, she decided to pursue her true passion full-time, a lifelong love of animals. Shelley has been one of very few professional pet sitting providers in this area and has brought over 20 years of animal care experience matched with a strong community service ethic to care for you and your pets with professional loving attention. Her passion in her work and her compassion for the animals in our care are immeasurable, and even now that she has relocated to the rolling hills of TN, she is extending our much needed services there in her local community to keep the legacy of this beloved business burning bright.
